The new President of the Slovak Commission is Professor Rastislav Kožiak, (History of Christianity in Middle Ages in Central Europe, Methodology and Historiography of Church History) and Vice-President, Professor Viliam Čičaj, CSc. (History of Christianity in the Modern Period). Other members are Professors Gabriel Peter Hunčaga, O.P., Dominican Convent in Bratislava (History of Monasticism in Central Europe); Vincent Múcska, Department of General History, Comenius University, Bratislava (History of Christianity in Middle Ages); Jaromír Nemeš, Department of History, Catholic University, Ružomberok (History of Christianity in Early Modern Period in Central Europe); Imrich Nagy, Department of History, Matej Bel University, Banská Bystrica (History of Christianity in Renaissance and Humanism in Central Europe); Mária Kohútová, CSc., Institute of Historical Studies, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava  (History of Christianity in Middle Ages and Modern Period); Norbert Kmeť, Institute of Political Studies, Academy of Science, Bratislava (History of Christianity in the Second Half of the Twentieth Century in Central Europe). Activities taking place in the autumn of 2008 include an International Conference on 9-10 December on Saint Adalbert: The Saint, his Period and his Cult.
